Energy & Emergence - An Online Day Retreat in 3 Parts

Yoga is a gift that gives us tools for living. Tools for re-educating our bodies to move in ways that support us to feel good, to feel strong and to feel balanced. Tools for working with our breath, expanding our lung capacity and the life force within us; tools for working with our minds and tools for awakening awareness.

The world is in a state of emergency. The word 'emergency' comes from the word 'emerge' meaning 'to rise up' or 'to come into existence'.  


During this spring day retreat, we will be awakening our energy, shaking off old patterns and habits and creating new and more helpful ways of being, within ourselves and within the world.

We will come together throughout the day to share a range of practices, including working with specific pranayama techniques (yogic breathwork), mudras (subtle gestures) and bandhas (yogic locks), the combination of which can have a powerful effect on our mind, body and energy.

8.00 Arrival: Morning Practice - Meditation and Contemplation

11.00 Energy: Morning Practice - Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha

Break for Lunch

14.00 Emergence: Afternoon Practice - Restorative Yin, Yoga Nidra, Meditation
